Neighborhood Involvement

Accipiter Properties has been located in the Schenk-Atwood (near-east side Madison, WI) neighborhood for over a decade. Both principals were members of the Schenk-Atwood Neighborhood Business Improvement Plan Project Management Team, whose mandate was to implement recommendations of the Business District Master Plan during the early 2000's. More recently, we have been participants in the Winnebago Atwood Business Association, a follow-on group looking to promote neighborhood infrastructure improvements and quality re-development projects.

Whether in Madison or other Wisconsin cities and towns, Accipiter promotes urban communities and increased property values via infill development and adaptive re-use of existing, under-performing structures. Our key tenants and partners include artists, professionals, and entrepreneurial businesses. We foster close relationships with local stakeholders, including business owners, neighborhood groups, and alderpersons.
